We would like to welcome Dr. Doug Hartwig to the Pro Rehab team.  Dr. Hartwig is a licensed acupuncturist who received his doctorate from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM). In addition to being fully trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Hartwig has also studied with many Japanese masters to develop expertise in Japanese Meridian Therapy, a more classically based approach to East Asian Medicine. Dr. Hartwig has experience treating many conditions and is also active within the community providing acupuncture support on-site to a local gymnastics gym.

Prior to changing careers, Dr. Hartwig spent many years as a Bioinformatics Programmer in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry. He also holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Cal State Long Beach and San Jose State University.  He continues to teach at PCOM, and is the past President and founder of the Pacific Rim Meridian Therapy Society.

Dr. Hartwig is available for appointments on Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 9:00am to 2:00pm and Friday’s from 8:00am to 12:30pm.  He currently accepts most insurance.  To schedule your appointment please call (760) 630-0683.
